The list price for the 777-300ER is $320.2 million. That's nearly $71 million more than the two-engine 787-9 which Boeing announced last summer and for which the company has taken orders for 404. Officials said the total cost of purchase and retrofitting the two planes has been estimated to be around Rs 8,400 crore. The B777 planes will have state-of-the-art missile defence systems called Large Aircraft Infrared Countermeasures (LAIRCM) and Self-Protection Suites (SPS).
The Boeing 777 Freighter
High demand among global airlines for cargo ships with a long range, efficient fuel consumption and maximum capacity prompted the Boeing company to accept the challenge. In may 2005, the company received its first order from Air France for an economical and powerful transport aircraft, the Boeing 777 Freighter. And 4 years later unsurpassed fuel economy and load capacity, twin-engine B777F came into operation, setting a new standard in the field of air cargo transportation.
The broad capabilities of the Boeing 777 Freighter reflected the potential of the legendary prototype, the Boeing 777-200LR, also known as the Worldliner. With a maximum takeoff weight of 347 810 kg, the Boeing 777 Freighter can provide a payload of 102 tonnes. With a full load B777F overcomes 9 070 km without refueling that deservedly makes it the leader among twin-engine cargo aircraft serving the long haul. Possible freighter Boeing 777 Freighter significantly reduce the cost of airlines: nonstop flights eliminate the cost of boarding fees and waiting in congested hub airports, saving on loading and unloading, and minimum time of delivery at the destination.
Boeing 777 300er operating costs I know this is subject to a miriad of factors (type of contract, average sector endurance, crew costs, handling costs, etc etc), but is there somebody to provide an average estimate of the hourly operating cost for B777 300ER, except fuel and crew expenses? Boeing 777-300 Cost $ 279 million U.S. Current Cost $346.9 million USA. Delta Air Lines - Boeing 777-200LR. Photo by Aero Icarus. Qatar القطرية - Boeing 777-200LR.
The unprecedented potential of the Boeing 777 Freighter is revealed in the practical use of selected cargo capacity. First twin-engine aircraft, long distance can accommodate on the main deck 27 standard pallet size of 2.5 to 3 m Pallets, a height of 3.1 m, the industry standard, placed near the cargo hatch on the main deck, allowing for efficient use the whole volume of the cargo ship. On the lower deck B777F can accommodate 10 pallets and 17 cubic meters of loose or bulk cargo. Also, the Boeing 777 Freighter the technology of fly-by-wire and implemented an improved wing design and winglets. Powerplant B777F is represented by two powerful engines from General Electric GE90-110B1 thrust for 48 946 kgs. This allows the Transporter to reach the speed of 945 km/h and adhere to the standard for a range of Boeing 777 cruising speed of 905 km/h. dimensions cargo Boeing 777 is almost identical to the Boeing 777-200LR, giving him the range and fuel reserve. The maximum amount of fuel for a flight loaded Boeing 777 Freighter leaves 181 280 HP
Boeing 777 Fuel Cost
Selling planes B777F demand of each operator interested in the maximum revenue per ton-kilometer. The Boeing 777 Freighter has established itself as the best cargo aircraft with a cargo compartment volume of 636 cubic meters, which allows to achieve a significant reduction of operating costs and operational costs. And low noise allows the use of even those airports that are demanding this option. Considering the evolutionary leap in commercial aviation, made the commissioning of the Boeing 777 Freighter, we can predict that the sale of aircraft of this model will gradually lead to the crowding out of less efficient modifications (747-200F and MD-11F).
